Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) is a welfare organisation, based on the labour movement and social democracy. It exists in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In Germany it was established by workers and craftsmen as a self-help-organisation, in ordert o prevent accidents at the working place, support casualties and training people in first aid. The organisation was established in Germany in 1888. The seat is Köln. There are 16 state organisations (German: Landesverbände) and 191 regional organisations (in regions, counties and municipalities). The organisation had ca. 1.4 million mambers, a payd staff of 41,000 and more than 20,000 volunteers.

The flag is yellow with the red logo in centre. The current logo displays a yellow Greek cross in a red square, charged with a red initial "S", annexed to square is a red inscription "ASB" in voided Italics.

The flag is white with a yellow life belt garnished black in centre, with embowed black inscriptions "WASSER" (left), "RETTUNGS" (top) and "DIENST" and the "ASB" from the logo. Inside the belt it is red charged with a yellow Greek cross, charges with a red "S".
